Life means so much, it has so much.
So we believe there’s much to lose.
We try to hold, therefore,
And keep and cherish
What we can, what we must, of life.
But don’t hold on; just accept,
And strive for all life’s worth.
Don’t do unto others
What you want from them;
But give — if only for the giving.
Lite is empty; life is full.
So much depends on us.
Others care, care not at all;
But what we care, and when we care,
We’ve done what we must, in life.
Today might be the first day;
Perhaps life will end today.
But don’t believe, and don’t deny.
It’s not the beginning or the end;
It’s just at where we are.
We always seek, and hope to find,
The real meaning of life.
We find the love,
Experience the loss,
And know the pain of both
Love is many things, blessed many things.
Loss and anger only one,
That start and have an end.
Love goes on forever
In all its many forms.
It’s good, it’s bad and wonderful;
It’s happy, sad, deliriously made;
Joy, fire, ice and tears.
It can hurt as much as hate;
But it doesn’t – because love is stronger.
Love is all, love is shared
Give it up, give it away, and
You’ll always get it back
What we give out of love,
We get to keep in life.
This is why it means so much.
That’s what makes it full.
