bout de papier, Vol. 3, No. 1 (1985) — March 1985 // Mars 1985, p. 34

Your fearless editor called A Aalto the other day to mention that some readers have been finding these puzzles too tough. Aalto replied in a constructive fashion, and Mr. Robertson is reported in fair condition. He would nevertheless welcome your views on any or all of the following questions:

Should the puzzles be

  • Harder?
  • About the same?
  • Easier?
  • A lot easier?
  • Eliminated?
  • Divided into easy and difficult parts?

What kind of puzzles do you like best?

  • Logic?
  • Anagrams?
  • Crossword/Acrostic?
  • Trivia?
  • Other?

Should A Aalto be

  • Paid for his work?
  • Charged for his work?
  • Arrested immediately?

Please direct your comments to the Aalto Section, c/o bout de papier.
