Dr. Orville Ault died in Ottawa October 14, 1993 in his 94th year. He was a member of the faculty of Ottawa Teachers’ College, served from 1942-46 overseas in the Canadian Army, then became Director of Personnel Selection in the Civil Service Commission from 1946-52. He served as a UN Advisor in Israel and Ghana before being appointed Director of Economic and Technical Assistance (the forerunner of CIDA) from 1958-60. Transferred to External Affairs, his final appointment was as Consul General in San Francisco from 1961-65.
