Ron Eales joined the Immigration Foreign Service in 1973 and had postings to Chicago, Birmingham, Manila, Vienna, Delhi and Bonn before becoming Chief of Cost Recovery and Revenue Generation (where he started his hobby of collecting small denomination bank notes from around the world). He is currently Immigration Program Manager in Rome.
