Senator Landon Pearson has lived in France, Mexico, India and the Soviet Union. She was a founding member of the Canadian Coalition for the Rights of Children and Chairperson until her appointment to the Senate. She is the author of numerous books on child development and a book on children in the former Soviet Union, Children of Glasnost.
