Janet Zukowsky served as the High Commissioner to Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean from 1990 to 1994 and as Special Envoy to the Eastern Caribbean in 1998 in regard to Canada’s bid for membership on the U.N. Security Council. She was CIDA’s Vice-President, Canadian Partnership, when she retired from the Public Service in 2002.
